The mural will not only celebrate the rich heritage of indigenous communities, but will also serve as a visual exploration of how color is used symbolically in their traditions. My artistic practice has always revolved around storytelling through visual mediums, and I have had the privilege of working on numerous projects that focus on cultural representation. This mural, in particular, is deeply personal to me, as I wish to contribute to a broader dialogue on the importance of preserving and honoring the indigenous heritage while also celebrating the power of color as a universal language of expression. I envision the mural as a site of community engagement, inviting local residents and visitors alike to reflect on the history, present, and future of indigenous cultures. Through the murals vibrant palette and its narrative-driven design, I am to create a space where people of all backgrounds can connect with the themes of cultural continuity, identity, and healing.
