The central section preserves a frieze dating from the Early Classic period, made of molded stucco and polychromed in shades of red, cherry, black, and blue. The 16.80-meter-long frieze depicts four scenes featuring jaguars, earth monsters, kings, toads, and crocodiles, among other elements.
This piece, unique in the Maya area, demonstrates the great sculptural skill of the ancient Maya artists.
En los 16.80 metros de largo que tiene el friso, se representan cuatro escenas con juaguares, monstruos de la tierra, reyes, sapos y cocodrilos, entre otros elementos.
Esta pieza, única en el área maya, muestra la gran habilidad escultórica de los antiguos artistas mayas.

Es en el "grupo sur", en donde se encontró un friso de estuco que coronaba un palacio, llamado Casa de los cuatro reyes, en referencia a los cuatro personajes, aparentemente soberanos, que aparecen en el friso y que representa una alegoría del orden del universo, con figuras de un saurio, serpientes, jaguares, estilizadas e intercaladas entre ellas y un mascarón del dios Kinich Ahau. El friso es por su monumentalidad un hallazgo único en el área maya con una dimensión de 16 metros de largo y 1.80 de altura, fue elaborado en el periodo Clásico con una datación entre los años 550 al 600 d. C. y aún conserva restos de pintura de color rojo, azul y negro.

It is in the “southern group” where a stucco frieze was found crowning a palace called the House of the Four Kings, in reference to the four figures, apparently sovereigns, who appear in the frieze and represent an allegory of the order of the universe, with stylized figures of a saurian, snakes, jaguars interspersed among them, and a mask of the god Kinich Ahau. The frieze is a unique find in the Mayan area due to its monumentality, measuring 16 meters long and 1.80 meters high. It was made during the Classic period, dating from 550 to 600 AD, and still preserves traces of red, blue, and black paint.
