Mistlin Sports Park Water Tower - Water Towers on Waymarking.com

Like many other communities in the area, Ripon has grown fast in the last couple of years. Until the change of the millennium, one traditional water tower was enough. In the year 2000, the first new water tower was built, and now, in 2006, an even bigger one was added at Mistlin Sports Park.

England born Tony Mistlin came to California's Central Valley during World War II and soon became one of the areas most successful car dealers. Today, he and his family are also one of Ripon’s biggest benefactors leaving their mark with everything from fountains to water features to a sports park that is shaping up to be one of the most impressive in the region.

In addition to the water tower, we have so far located two of the three fountains, the Mistlin Family has donated to the city.
