Raw Head overlooks most of the South and West Cheshire plain. It is situated on a Sandstone Ridge which forms part of the sandstone Trail. To the on a clear day you can see Malpas to the South, Chester and Ellesmere Port to the North, Wrexham to the West, and Liverpool and Warrington to the North East. OSGB GR SJ5084 5483
