Williamsburg 1/4 mile Burial places of Fitzhugh and Carroll
Colonel William Fitzhugh and Major Charles Carroll, along with Colonel Nathaniel Rochester, purchased the "100 acre tract" at Genesee Falls, that later became Rochester, NY. An interesting side note, Colonel Fitzhugh was the uncle of Elizabeth Cady Stanton, prominent suffragist.
