USGS PTS 108S WIS, 1921, WI, is a US Geological Survey traverse station disk mounted in the top of a culvert parapet wall southeast of Prairie du Chien, WI. The disk is about 3.5 miles southeast of downtown Prairie du Chien, 100.4 feet south of the centerline of US Highway 18, 16.4 feet east of the extended centerline of a gravel driveway leading to house number 61859, about 15 feet north-northeast of the centerline of Old US Highway 18, about one foot southeast of the northwest end of the parapet wall, and about one foot above the level of the roadway of Old US 18. The USGS set the disk in 1921, and, in 2002, the WI Department of Transportation documented the disk for inclusion in the National Spatial Reference System. The disk is not in the Geocaching database, but is in the National Geodetic Survey database as PID = DH8305 (

To reach from the intersection of US Highway 18 and WI State Highway 35 in Prairie du Chein, go southeast on US Highway 18/WI State Highway 35 for about 3.5 miles to the intersection with Old US Highway 18 leading south. Turn right and go south on Old US Highway 18 for about 100 yards to the culvert and the station on the left.
