This monument was erected in 1972 honoring Princess Atonka. I was not able to find any information on her except there is a Princess Otahki who is buried in Cape Girardeau and it thought to be same person. The monument is located along Mill Street in Caledonia where 11 parties of Cherokees stopped along their trek in 1838.
