The site is now part of the Proud Lake State Recreation Area, on the south side of Wise Road, between Carroll Lake and Union Lake Roads. There is plentiful parking for the IFC (Integrated Fire Control) area, but limited parking for the launcher area.

The Integrated Fire Control complex is again abandoned. It was being used as a day camp for wayward children, but that operation is now closed. Many of the buildings remain and the gate was open when I was there, but many of the buildings are quickly falling victim to vandalism.

The launcher area is a little farther east on Wise Road, with a small pull-off N42° 36.081' W83°27.981' and another at N42° 36.144 W83° 27.836'. The "H" marking for the helipad was clearly visible at N42° 36.031' W83° 27.873'.
