The Buffalo & Erie County Naval & Military Park is home to several memorials dedicated to nearly every U.S. war. The Korean War memorial consists of two parts. The main piece is a granite relief sculpture with two soldiers in combat gear on patrol in a field with the word "Korea" below. The inscription on the back lists members of the Korean War Memorial Committee as well as the landscape architect, artist, and contractor. In front of that is a satellite pedestal. On the sides of the pedestal are the names of soldiers killed in action. The top of pedestal is engraved with military emblems.
The memorial was dedicated April 28, 1990 and was designed by Ralph Sirianni.
List if there are any visiting hours: The park is open from dawn to dusk everyday.
