The sign at the corner of Linnaean Street and Massachusetts Avenue is for the house that is up the street that may be the oldest standing in Cambridge.

The sign says:
"At Number 21 Linnaean Street is the Cooper-Austin House built in 1657, at what was then the northern end of the Cambridge cow common, by John Cooper, Selectman, Town Clerk, and Deacon of the Church."
The sign itself is on the corner of Linnaean Street and Massachusetts Avenue. The house still stands about three blocks from this sign and a couple other historic markers are placed there.
The original visit was February 4, 2007.
