Located in Northwest Hillsborough County, Lake Park is a 600-acre park consisting of five lakes, pine flatwoods, cypress swamps, hardwood hammocks. Along with boating and fishing, the park offers picnic facilities, a BMX track (bicycle motorcross), radio control car track, an archery range and an off-leash dog park. Lake Park has equestrian facilities and is the site of horse shows, rodeos, and several state-wide archery shoots. The land for the park is provided by the City of St. Petersburg
