The pyramid in the front of the Mexico pavilion building is a composite of Mesoamerican motifs dating back to the 3rd century, empasizing the Aztec style.

Inside the pyramid is a gallery showcasing Mexican arts and crafts. It also leads to the rear part of the building which houses several shops, a restaurant, and a boat ride.
