This ferry connects the two sides of the Willamette River between Independence and Albany.

A no-frills ferry, catering primarily to the agricultural residents of the area. This is the only crossing between Independence and Albany. Ironically, while plans for a replacement bridge have stalled, the two counties will shut down this ferry in 2008, as a cost-cutting move. The coordinates given are for the eastern terminus, but the river is only about 100 yards wide at this point.
Update: as of 2009 the ferry still lives.
