Originally opened as the Rivoli Theatre. George Oldham bought the theatre from his brother in law in 1949. It was gutted and remodeled but before the completion George passed away. The renovation was completed and the theatre opened with a new name in memory of George Oldham. It became the Oldham Theatre and is still in operation today. It is located on the town square of Winchester.
In the late 90's the Oldham owners decided to make the original balcony into it's own theater. So now the building has two screens. The top screen holds appox. 100 people, while the bottom holds 400.
