Wording is different on PHMC write-up then on Marker. Write-up wording: Gen. Bradley T. Johnson commanding a Confederate force camped here July 31, 1864. They had raided and burned Chambersburg, and the last Confederates to camp on Northern soil. Marker wording in Long Description.
