He took the secret burial place of Cochise and his horse to his grave. He spent the last part of his years mining in the Tortolitas near Tucson.
He is buried at Evergreen Cemetery on Miracle Mile in Tucson, AZ
Description: Friend and Blood-Brother of Cochise. Peace-maker with hostile Apaches.
His marker was erected in 1964 by the Daughters of the American Colonists
