"This stone building is one of two such structures to be built in
Saskatchewan (the other is in Regina), and is designed in the Beaux Arts style.
David Ewart, the Chief Architect for Canada, was responsible for bringing this
style into popular use by the Post Office throughout Canada. A prominent
landmark in Moose Jaw, this building has served as the City Hall for a number of
years. " ~ Saskatchewan Heritage website.
The building was converted to the Moose Jaw City Hall in 1963.
