This carousel was built in 1912 and began its career locally in the Myrtle Beach Pavilion in 1950. In addition to carved horses, this carousel also features hand-painted frogs, roosters, lions, ostriches, giraffes & zebras.
The carousel is located with a number of other rides at the E end of the Broadway at the Beach retail complex.
