Knudshoved Fyr
Knudshoved har 2 fyr. Det ældste er vippefyret fra omkring 1750. Det blev etableret af postvæsenet for at hjælpe færegefarten på
Storebælt. Det fungerede med brænde og kul. I tåget vejr blev der anbragt
kanonslag i vippekurven. Eksplosionen var nemmere at høre end braget fra de tidligere brugte kanoner.
I nærheden ligger knaldhytten, hvor kanonslagene blev opbevaret.
Fyrtårnet er ombygget flere gange. I 1809 byggede man et nyt 3 m højt fyrtårn, som igen i 1894 blev er stattet med et 7 m højt, rundt fyrtårn.
Det nuværende fyrtårn fra 1948 er 12 m højt.
Knudshoved Lighthouse
Knudshoved has 2 lighthouses. The oldest is from 1750. It worked with firewood and coal. In foggy weather there were maroons
in the basket. The explosions were easier to hear than the crash from the earlier used cannons.
Near by is the bang hut, where the maroons were kept.
The "new" lighthouse is built in 1948.
