There is great emphasis currently being placed on the importance of greenery for the environment in Bangkok today. With all the people, cars, trucks, and air pollution, measures are being taken to putting more green on the streets. It's not unusual to see rows of potted greenery lined up near a highway overpass and growing into a portable hedge: making the unsightliness of bridge underwork and adding some green eye appeal. There is lots of attention given to the islands in the center of the busy city streets and topiary skills are evident in all districts. I liked this one because they incorporated the welcome sign with the elephant - the lucky symbol of Thailand.
