At either end of the moat surrounding Chitlada Palace, the home of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the reigning king of Thailand, are these ornate fountains. In the evening they are lighted and spectacular. But the best way to see them is to walk the long tree-line boulevard from town to the zoo that sits across from the palace grounds. Be sure to watch out for the ocassional monitor lizard sunning himself near the sidewalk where you are walking.
