BUTTERFIELD
OVERLAND MAIL
IN MISSOURI --1858~1861
The James P. Munhollen Relay Station, 20 miles from the Tipton Terminus, stood about 2½ miles southwest of Florence in Morgan County.

History of Mark:
Notice, on the State marker above the man's name is Munhollen, on the Thrasher marker (shown in my visit) the name is Mulholland. I have seen papers that show the name as Mulhollen. Have not found anyone who can definitively answer the question. The additional location just below is the actual station location.
