The Arlington Schools Planetarium is open for public multimedia programs throughout the school year on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Additionally, on the first Monday of the month (second monday when 1'st Monday falls on a legal holiday) Stars Tonight - What's Up in Your Arlington Skies This Month is presented as a live interactive talk with the planetarium director and a dome full of stars. The cost for tickets is $2 for children 12 and under and seniors (62 or older, and willing to admit it!) and $3 for everyone else. The doors open 15 minutes before the show. No reservations are necessary. Please arrive promptly. Once the program has begun the exterior door will be locked.

Private groups can be accommodated during off hours. The cost is $60 dollars per hour. Please contact the planetarium (703-228-6070) for availability.

The planetarium closes for the summer.

Just imagine life without the Moon. Imagine life adapted to surviving under a blue star instead of our Sun. Just imagine the end of the Universe; in doing so, we must first consider how it all began. Join us for Just Imagine at the Brown Planetarium beginning Friday March 28, 2008. Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM, Sundays at 1:30 and 3:00 PM Note: Doors open 15 minutes prior to show time and are closed and locked once the program begins.
