The Iverson Ranch in the northwest San Fernando valley was once a popular film location. After the 118 freeway construction, it was developed into condos. The famous "Lone Ranger Rock" can be found a short walk away from the development.

The opening title sequences of the classic 'Lone Ranger', the Long Ranger can be seen riding past a distinctive rock:
Today, it looks much the same:
The rock is easy to access as it is only a few hundred feet off a major road in a housing development.
The exact open area of the rock is on property owned by the city and is legal to visit.
Some background on The Lone Ranger:
The Lone Ranger is an American, long-running, old-time radio and early television show.
The titular character is a masked Texas Ranger in the American Old West, who gallops about righting injustices, usually with the aid of a clever and laconic American Indian sidekick called Tonto, and his horse Silver. He would famously say "Hi-yo Silver, away!" to get the horse to gallop.
On the radio and TV-series, the usual opening announcement was:
“ A fiery horse with the speed of light, a cloud of dust, and a hearty 'Hi-ho Silver away!' The Lone Ranger!"
