One of the artifacts found on the grounds of the Flagg Township Museum is a Lincoln Highway Post. It is not surprising to find such a marker in Rochelle, IL, since it was basically the half-way point for the Lincoln Highway through Illinois.
The post is in good condition, but a bit faded. The medallion is still intact. Although not in its original location, the museum is only a short block away from the current Lincoln Highway.
