This statue is located in the very small Christopher Columbus Park in downtown Memphis, TN. The park itself was dedicated in honor of the Italian American Community of Memphis and to their contribution to the heritage and growth of the city. This was provided by the Memphis Chapter of UNICO National (an Italian-American service organization) and the City of Memphis, Richard C. Hackett, Mayor.
The statue is bronze and placed on a small concrete pedestal.
