This ford lies next to the bridge in the village. The bridge can be used for small vehicles but it is very narrow therefore the ford is in constant use. The water crossing is through the River Ise and there was a steady flow of water across it when we drove through it today. Children were playing and tempting drivers to create a bigger wash from their vehicles to soak them with in 26 degree Centigrade sunshine!

Nearby is the finest preserved Eleanor Cross dating from the 13th Century.
