Long Description:
From the Santa Fe Community College Amateur Radio Society website: "We are affiliated with the American Radio Relay League and the Florida Repeater Council. Our College has a sister Community College by the same name in New Mexico, but we're the one in Florida! Our HAM SHACK is dedicated to the memory of Hilda K. Young (SK 1995) former holder of our callsign and is called the "Hilda K. Young Memorial Station at Santa Fe." Our HAM SHACK is located in our Gymnasium (Building V), just beneath our 50-foot tall Rohn 25 tower, in room V-017-B. We maintain an open 2-meter repeater K4EAC/R on 146.190 ~ 146.790 MHz. The repeater has an autopatch and it can be used by any licensed HAM in our community or by visiting Amateurs passing through town. The repeater is a HAMTRONICS REP-200 unit using WACOM WP-639 tuned cavities, a Mirage B-3016R 120-watt solid-state amplifier, and a Diamond F-23A 5/8 wave antenna located on the top of our tower mast."
