Marker Text: The Big Obsidian Flow cooled and life began an invasion on this barren, glassy landscape that continues relentlessly today. Life walks in, hops in, blows in and flies in. It comes from all directions. Newberry Volcano is continually reshaped by eruptions and the life that inhabits it. But life adapts to the volcano, not the other way around.
