It seems most fitting that this memorial should be waymarked.
You will find monuments like this in towns all over Vermont and the country. Here, one senses that a legacy is honored when its sons and daughters choose to serve their country: the town is named for General Roger Enos, commander of all Vermont forces during the Revolutionary War.
