For almost 60 years, the same family has owned and operated Springdale Farms. This site sits on 100 lush and wonderful acres, providing our town with outstanding produce, herbs, flowers, and fresh baked goods.

The coordinates are for the entrance for the actual physical structure. The actual farm is across Springdale Road, 35 feet away. I recently noticed that Springdale Farms is now part of the NJ Green Acres program. Please click HERE to read about the grant the farm was recently awarded in 2005. I believe it was high time this struggling farm received some government help. This is one of the last vestiges of our once flourishing local farming lifestyle. In 1931 we had 82 farms! Over the last forty years, I have seen all our farms sold off for housing or commercial development. We still have Johnson Farm nearby and a few others but this one is very important to our cultural heritage and I for one am glad it remains. It is the ONLY Pick-Your-Own farm in our county (Camden), and of course, the last one in Cherry Hill. Imagine, we were once entirely a farming community!
