It is one of the largest trees in Danube-Ipoly National Park. The exact age is not known, but we estimate it to be about 350 years old. If you will be travelling by car from Budapest, take Route 2. By train, take the Vác-Balassagyarmat line. Turn south at the railway station of Nograd and follow the blacktop road for 2.5 km to the parking place. Then follow the line of the Blue Tour.
