An American hero.

Connecticut's State Hero.

Nathan Hale (June 6, 1755 – September 22, 1776) was an officer in the Continental Army. Nathan Hale was captured and hung by the British, while on an intelligence gathering mission after the American's loss at the battle of Long Island.

His words ring true for everyone, who's heart swells with pride, when they think about their home.
