It's the most prominent man made feature in town. You can see it from the entire town, in fact - you can also see it from Caledon and Brampton.
I think it looks like some sort of alien space ship has landed smack in the middle of town. Being on a hill, every wireless company you can think of has an antenna or dish bolted to it.
Update - Dec 28 2008
The Town of Halton Hills and Halton Region ran an article in the Georgetown Independant - this tower will be dismantled in 2010 after a new tower is built . The new tower may be adjacent to this one, or somewhere else altogether.
