Goodrich High school's nature preserve, Noll's Knoll is named after my Grandfather who is now over 80. Cache is within it.

I plan on talking to my Grandfather about more of the details. He and his students were involved with creating the pond and resulting hill. They planted pine across the top of the excavated soils. It has been a nature preserve for some time. Some grass and raspberry plants are a bit over-grown around the picnic tables and the trails. It's a very nice location though. I was stung by a wasp while trying to clear away growth from around a picnic table... be careful around the tables if you are allergic!

A geocache is also currently hidden on the land titled "Noll's Knoll Cache", Geocache number GCXRT9.
Estimated size of the public land (in regional measurement standard: hectares, acres, kms, etc.): 5 acres roughly

Is there a trail system?: Yes

If there is a trail system, please describe length, terrain, etc.:
A trail branches off in a couple different directions and goes near the excavated pond as well as a natural marsh. Trails are hilly, and many have little maintenance, so they may be fairly overgrown with plants. Trails near the marsh may be muddy at times. Raspberry and rose bushes are along some portions so beware of thorns and also burrs. Be careful of hornets which stung me at one of the picnic tables. Always beware of poison ivy, especially if you are wearing shorts. Mosquitoes are often present in large numbers.

What points of interest are there?:
Points of interest include the following list: Picnic tables, lookout dock on the pond (be careful it is old), a marsh, and a geocache (Geocache number GCXRT9).
