A "two-lane" boat ramp used by power boaters, sailors and kayakers who want to safely enter the Monterey Bay. There is pay-at-the-machine-for-your-space trailer parking in the adjacent lot, by the hour or by the day, but not surprisingly the trailer spaces are often full before noon on weekends. There is a public restroom at the edge of the pier, and two restaurants, a chandlery, a dive shop, and a kayak rental in the adjacent buildings.
