The Ski Hill at Centennial Park is human made, and serves as a "Beginner" hill in the winter. The rest of the time, it is a giant grassy hill that provides a full 360 degree view of Toronto, Brampton and Mississauga.
This would be a fantastic view at night as you are surrounded by city in all directions. If you look to the north, you can see aircraft taking off and landing at one of the world's busiest airports.
The bad news is this is a ski hill, and you will have to find your way up to the top to get the view. There are numerous paths from any of the parking lots in the park. Closest parking I found was still a good 200 metres from the viewpoint. There is a gradual path up made of gravel for the service trucks, or the much steeper 'social' paths that dot the hill.
There is no fee to climb the hill in the warmer months. During the colder months you are not going to get up here without a lift ticket.
