Tyneham was evacuated by the MOD in the World War and this postcard shows the scene today. There are less leaves on the trees and the road has been resurfaced since the postcard was produced. The wooden posts have also shrunk.

Description of Postcard Location: Evacuated in 1943 for military reasons, the village retains its pre-war telephone box. There are exhibitions in the School House and St Mary's Church.
