The Long Family Orchard, Farm & Cider Mill's website doesn't have any information about the history of the place, but it's been in the same family for at least three generations.
The cider mill has been modernized over the years, at least the press for the apples is hydraulic, that much I can tell you. Everybody was pretty busy, so I hadn't an opportunity to ask many questions.
Besides being a cider mill, this place is still a functioning farm were people come for apples, asparagus, corn, cucumbers, peppers, pumpkins, strawberries, tomatoes, and zuccini.
That much, the website will tell you. (
