This depot stood empty for many years when SP quit providing passenger service to Gilroy. The SP freight railroad tracks are shared by Amtrak, but Amtrak trains do not stop here and the Amtrak coach connections do not use the depot. Now it is a Greyhound bus station. It's lovely inside.
This location is a transit center, with connections to local passenger train service (Caltrain), local bus service (VTA), the Greyhound bus, and Amtrak bus.
