The Holder Memorial Building is a beautiful structure, especially inside. On the outside, you are greeted by two female figures, which I was told was originally part of the fountain on the town common about a block away to the east. When you enter the building, you walk into a two story hall with mosaic tiles on the floor and a beautiful mantle at the far end. To the right is the lecture room, and to the left are exhibit rooms about Clinton. The 2nd floor has more exhibits.
I was part of a group on a tour of the town. I don't know the admission fee (and I didn't find it on the site), but I suggest a donation. As far as a gift shop - there are some books to buy, and I'm sure there are other items, but I didn't see a room dedicated to a gift shop. There was no eating area, but the museum is in downtown Clinton, where there are plenty of places to go.
