Originally known as the Desert Valley Museum, the Virgin Valley Heritage Museum was begun in 1985 and renamed in 2001. The museum is located a building built in 1941 by the National Youth Administration and was previously used as a library and then a medical clinic.
The museum has a collection of artifacts pertaining to the history of the Virgin Valley and Mesquite with a date range of 1875-1934.
