St.Luke's church at Haverigg village was built in 1891,the church is only a short walk from Haverigg beach,and well worth a visit,where inside the church can be seen some fine examples of stained glass windows,in the East window is St.George,Christ crucified,and St.Luke,there is also a magnificent modern stained glass window which can be seen in the linked website below.
In the churchyard cemetery can be seen a row of graves of airmen from the local base at Millom who died during the second world war,they died either in training or on missions during the war.
