A narrow road crosses the Mimram river south of Codicote.
The Automobile Association depth gauge shows how deep the crossing is for vehicles.
Pedestrians can use the raised walkway on downstream side.
Although this is appears dry, this is described as a 'Dutch ford' or an 'Irish bridge', where at low flow the water goes under the road through pipes. It soon covers the road as pipes are small.
The nearby cottage is called 'Pulham Water Cottage' and the road junction to the south is Codicote and Kimpton Roads. and commonly known as Shaws Corner.
