Some time in late 2008, the town of Needham posted a series of signs based on artwork made by students and are posted in several locations near schools. There are several versions. This one was my favorite one, which shows red and orange flames and the words:

"Where's the Fire?
"[Flames]
"Slow Down!"

While the concept is very interesting, and I do recognize the creative intent, I found the lettering not thick enough to read while driving. Also, the lettering should be darker to add contrast. Of course, they aren't standard signs, so some drivers might just miss them altogether.

This sign is located at the intersection of Cedar Street and Wellesley Avenue Extention (a redesign of the road intersection created this 'extention' which may not be on maps yet - another story). Eliot School is off Wellesley Avenue Extention.
