This stone bridge, created out of native basalt from the area, is located in Manito Park, a historic park in Spokane featuring many botanical gardens. I could find nothing of the bridge's history, but it appears to be an early structure of the garden. Around the park many other historic basalt structures (picnic shelters, restrooms, etc.) can be seen.

Manito Park, originally named Montrose Park, is located in Spokane's South Hill neighborhood. It was created in the late 1800's and to this day contains many showcase botanical and themed gardens such as the rose garden, lilac garden, and Japanese garden.

Its five gardens, conservatory and duck pond are toured by over 150,000 visitors each year.
