Nestled down a side-street, this small park features and very nice waterfall, view of a large viaduct, and information stands detailing the history of the small town that grew up around Tinkers Creek.
The parking lot is at street level. From there a paved trail descends down to Tinkers Creek where the Great Falls of Tinkers Creek can be viewed from an observation platform. If you are adventureous, you can walk to the end of the trail and travel back along the rocks to a point at the pool at the base of the falls.
The viaduct at the end of the park was built in 1865. There is a millrace that can be walked through, and the remants of an old power plant stand on the north side of the gorge. Information signs dot the trail as you walk through the park.
