This is a beautiful playground above Neary Lagoon with swinging bridges over a blue-foam "waterway", lots of sand and two sand-excavators, and the usual assortment of slides, climbing bars, etc. What makes it more special is its location along the birdwatching interpretive trail to Neary Lagoon, with signs for the children to appreciate, and birdsong filling the air all day. What might detract from the experience is the water treatment plant on the other side; it's not as smelly as one would fear but there is an occasional whiff.
The park is open daily from 7AM to dusk. Parking is available on city streets less than a block away.
