Viktoria Zizkov was founded in 1903 and with Sparta and Slavia belonged to the 3 top teams of czech football before WWII. But after 1948 a communistic regime has almost destroyed it. Viktoria went down to the lowest division and it took long 45 years to get back to the I.league. Team's name is expressing a long for victories and Zizkov is a very peculiar part of Prague, from where the team is.
