The "Quinta Pedagógica dos Olivais" (Olivais Pedagogical Farm in English) is a unique place in the city of Lisbon where everybody (children in particular)can take contact about country and farm reality, learn about nature in an atractive way and being aware of environment issues like nature and animal protection, biological agriculture and recycling.
In this place we can find several animals that usually we can only find outside the big city. Horses, Cows, Sheep, Goats, Pigs, Chickens, Ducks are some of the animals you can find there.
The Farm has guided tours, manual activities like planting things or making bread among others, traditional games, recreating old traditions among other activities.
